Tech For All modernized the computer lab at the Government Senior Secondary School in Nariyala on 24th October 2024 with 10 new computers, upgraded network infrastructure and a hi-speed internet.
The Govt Senior Secondary School, Nariyala got a much-needed upgrade on 24 October, 2024. While the lab had been set up years ago, it was a bit like a storage room with numerous non-functional computers linked to old wiring with poor internet connectivity.
The school has 270 students enrolled across grades 6 to 12, with 50+ students unable to gain an understanding of their respective computer science & IT courses. With 10 new computers, upgraded network infrastructure and a new hi-speed internet connection, the teachers now look forward to doing their job better as educationalists! The interiors are also getting uplifted with fresh paint, reorganization of the space and better chairs and desks. Wait for further updates.
In fact with the new upgraded lab, the Principal and the computer science teacher are planning to offer additional classes to even those students who haven't opted for these courses! We would say, mission accomplished!
